Question by snake: Anyone know a place were I can find decent transcribed bass lines for various jazz songs?
So I have a jazz test coming up and I have to have bass lines for several songs. I’m still kinda new to making bass lines and I want to have some to work off of anyone have a site?

some books like the real book and the worlds greatest fake book occasionally will have transcribed bass lines. Usually, tho, just chords and melodies.

You might try to find a bass method book, like The Evolving Bassist by Rufus Reid or any of a number of classical (double bass) method books – IIRC, one of the main bass method transcription books is the Billé etude book
