How much is my ibanez bass worth?

Question by Kyle: How much is my ibanez bass worth?
I have a 4 string ibanez bass it’s an ex series. From what I can tell, it’s atleast 9 or more years old. I’ve played it for 2 years and i would like to upgrade to a Jackson 5 string bass. My ibanez is in great condition. It looks 88% new. But you can tell its older. I did research and couldn’t find anything on it. Could somebody tell me how much they think it might be worth? I paid 146 for it.

You’re talking not mint condition and previously owned? Since it’s still in a pretty decent shape you can get anywhere between $ 30-65 depending on how desperate your buyer is. But most people aren’t desperate for an ibanez bass, let alone the ex series. You’re probably better off just keeping it. 9 years hardly constitutes it being worth more because of age, if you want to go off of that you’ll have to wait a couple more decades. Right now the ibanez bass ex series is pretty cheap when you get it used. I hope you didn’t pay $ 146 for it used.
