How to tune bass guitar from drums on a truck subwoofer?

Question by Bman: How to tune bass guitar from drums on a truck subwoofer?
I have a subwoofer setup 2 12″ kenwoods and a kenwood 350watt amp aswell as a kenwood head unit The music i mainly listen to is metal and includes bass guitar, how do i make it to where it hits hard on the drums without the annoying hum of the bass guitar?

Get an equalizer so you will have more control over frequencies rather than just your head unit’s bass and treble control which are centered at a certain frequency. The more bands the equalizer has, the more you can fine tune the sound. A 10 or 11 band eq(1 octave) should be fine.
