Question by : is there a difference playing lefty on a bass thats not in left handed bass?
I’m a lefty and I’m learning how to play bass. I’m wondering if there is a difference of playing on a regular bass as a lefty or if they’re the same. What are the disadvantages from playing on a regular as a lefty? And should I buy a left-handed bass instead? Someone please help me! And the Grace name is my mom. I’m using her account.

If you play on a regular bass, you would have to reverse the strings to play left handed (not recommended). Instead of a lefty bass, I would consider playing as a righty would; the fingerings are all done on the left hand. I’m left handed and I play bass the way a righty would play, and it’s probably easier.

no difference in the instrument. Just reverse the order of the strings.
