i have a five string f series ltd bass guitar and its quite amazing. the neck feel amazing and more natural because it has either no finnish or a light finnish (not good when describing guitars, sorry.) but yeah i recomend it, plays good and l=the lows sound amazing especially when playing such bands like oceano, veil of maya, job for a cowboy, born of osiris, etc..
Ibanez

BC rich makes a decent bass ….
i would go with Schecter… schecters are kick***
Ibanez is also very good if you get their higher end basses
ESP is a great bass as well you can get a good ESP for a low price
The higher end BC Rich Warlock basses are pretty brutal looking and seem to be solid. Maybe you can find one used on Craigslist. Also, check out the Dean Metalman bass. I haven’t played one, but other Dean basses I’ve played were pretty good.
try an ibanez
i forgot what they’re called but they are like 500$
