Hey I need to get a bass guitar for a band. However, I have no idea what kind to get.
I would need one that isnt too expensive, one that is light-weight, and has an acceptable quallity of sound.

I suggest you go to guitarcenter.com and search their basses and then find one that’s cheap and that you like then go to the store and play it if it sounds bad then ask them what else they have in your price range.

Why not go to your local music shop and try a few out… then do your homework- see what kinda reviews it gets from people who know about guitars… then finally, once you’ve found the one for you, search around for the best price (plus of course there is the small matter of actually learning to play bass)…
