I’d like to learn some nice funky bass lines, but can’t get any good learning material in my local stores. Where can I download any good e-books, video lessons or just nice websites on this topic.
Also, my cousin just got his firs bass guitar, where can I get some basic beginner material on how to play bass for him (I’d teach him myself, but we can’t see each other often enough)?

i definitely recommend bass lessons, otherwise you’re just going to have s*it technique.
funk is all about technique pretty much
don’t start out on funk its VERY complicated to play, hence why it sounds so good.
books & youtube etc are used as a side reference to studying bass not as a main source
