2 EFFECTIVE and CHEAPER straplock alternatives.

In this video I show 2 alternatives (Grolsch straplock & flat metal ring/washer) after showing an official branded one, both alternatives are CHEAPER and in my opinion MORE EFFECTIVE. Apologies for my sometimes lacking english. The only reason I can think of to use expensive straplocks would be to use one strap with multiple guitar, which on itself seems unpractical to me because you would have to change the length of the strap everytime. If you’re like me and have a strap for every guitar which will never have to come of, DON’T BUY EXPENSIVE STRAPLOCKS.

You won’t need to wrap the strap around the headstock on an electric.

Hi, could you rephrase your post? I’ve read it a couple of times now but I can’t make any sense of it, try using a bit more interpunction. That way more people might be able to help solve your problem.

Just so everyone knows…Gibson endpins, at least on basses, are too thin and long for the Grolsch seals to work on them. They slip off way too easy and do not close around the endpin. I shall try the washers tomorrow. How have people’s results been for the washers?

I tried this with Bernard beer bottles and the tops wouldn’t break. How’d you remove the plastic/ rubber washer?
