Hey man, thanks for subscribing and checking out the website. Unfortunately
i didn’t ever do a transcription to that tune. I have had quite a few folk
requesting it so i will try and have a transcription for you in the next
week or so! Stay tuned my friend.

I have a double jointed thumb also, and I can slap just fine. Just keep at
it and it will come.

I have a hitch hikers thumb so it bends backwards at a 90 so it’s pretty
much impossible! Haha oh and I have a 5 string Yamaha, just wanted to say I
like your 6 string!

Hey thanks for the reply! Ive been a player for a long time, but other than
learning some RHCP tunes years ago as a teenager haven’t really explored or
attempted to expand my abilities in slap bass until now, so I’m just trying
to pick the brains of anyone who will listen that that are great at it!
Keep up the great work! I had never heard of Peter Muller until I stumbled
across your vid!

I’m Confused is this a Marcus Miller track?? great playing, is there some
double thump action goin on there?

Written By ThePigeonSniffer on May 5th, 2014 @ 2:24 pm

This tune is cool it reminds me of Marcus Miller’s Frankenstien. Does
anybody know any good techniques for the Double thump? I love the way
Marcus Miller uses it! It’s great on that other video that this guy has put
up of Marcus showing demo of it.

I want to learn how to play this : )

Hey man em not really sure it could either be a wrong choice on the tab or
i played it different to what is actually on the record! I would encourage
you to play it whatever way feels most comfortable to you and don’t pay too
much attention to the tabs. I will double check it tho and come back with a
more solid answer ha ha. Thanks for pointing it out. C

I’m Sure you can. It all starts with Thumb, Pop, Thumb, Pop, Thumb, Thumb,
Pop, Thumb, Thumb, Pop, …… Practising slow at first is the key. The
more you do it the better you will become.

Hey man great job! Quick question,, I noticed that the tab shows at the end
of every turn of the first half of the beginning riff the a on the second
fret is played then the next time around it switches to the a on the
seventh fret,I noticed you dont seem to do that and stay using the 7th
fret. (which makes more since to me), But why is the tab written that way?

lovely video. I’m a concert pianist myself, and ever since i started
listening to Jamiroquai back in high school, and learning Jazz
simultaneously, it made want to learn how to play bass. Maybe one day I’ll
start playing bass ^.^

Thank You! I’m using in this one Indie IRK Bass (which is simply
Rickenbacker 4003 copy with more like an Ibanez headstock). Cheers!
