My lil sis has 2 fourth graders in her grade who play double bass. The full size. They need a stool to reach the top

Beautiful piece. Talented kid, If he wasn’t so nervous I bet this wouldn’t sound rigid and the musicality would seep through.

This concert is not in EADG, it’s in solo tuning F#BEA (A tone Higher).

Is this double bass concerto accessible through standard EADG double bass tuning or is it another viennese tuning concerto like Dittersdorf Concert no. 2? I played dittersdorf in EADG tuning and it was a nightmare and I’m looking for a difficult concerto accessible through standard EADG tuning. Is this concerto good or can someone reccommend a different one?
