he tunes eadgc. i believe his gauges are .90 .75 .65 .40 .30 something in that range.

its because the bass i have when i bought new strings and i went to my local best buy so they could change them and do it for me and i have told the guy to tune it B standard (thats what i play) but the next day the guys calls , and my brother answer the phone ( and i wasnt home that day) and the guy asks what tuning , and my brother said drop B , so the guy from best buy did something that i can only drop tune my bass and well i tried to standard tune and it didnt work  (part 1)

Most all basses can be made for slapping, lower your action and get a lighter guage strings (you dont have to, but it would be easier) .

are you tuned eadgc?
I’m sure his E is somewhere around .105
.130 or .125 would suggest a beadg tuning.

does anyone knows what string gauge evan brewer uses, i think he uses .125 or a thinner, because it doesn’t look like .130 gauge, i bought .125 gauge for my 5 string bass and it was too thin so i had to exchange them for.130 gauge ( i own a shecter diamond series omen extreme 5 ) i my bass is not made for slapping( because the guy that changed my told me it had to be thicker strings, i guess for slapping you need lighter gauge), i struggle a little but still its a good bass
