p-bass or j-bass? i cant really decide….it is not the look of them that dont let me decide….i just dont know the differences …..does a p-bass havw the same capabilities as a jazz?

Your deeper Mids, especially on the low E, sound so bassy-punchy, more like Humbuckers. Are u using a preamp? Or how can that be explained?

Also, the pickup covers shield the bass amazingly well from interference. On my P-bass, with both covers on, I can sit within in a foot or two of my computer set up– which consists of my laptop, monitor, xbox, two power strips, and a bunch of other crap– and I hear only a slight hum, where as with my uncovered Jazz bass, the hum is louder than my playing when that close to that many electronics.

Can you give me a tab for the first bass line?

pick up covers are mainly for show and not so much a change in sound, it can add a bit of a twang and it limits where you can play on the strings which is what will change the sound
