I haven’t ever tried one single ibanez sr (even the higher end ones)
without dead notes all over the place lol…or very weak electronics.
I have the 4 string one… it’s alright
do a presentation on the sterling ray35
I tried one of these out at the music store. It was a rattly, fret buzzy
lump of crap. Didn’t sound anything like the one in this video. I owned a
4-string Ibanez that was also a plank of wood destined for the campfire.
Clay Henss Ibanez makes some of the best guitars out there I have a 25 year
old SR500 that still plays better then all others basses I’ve played
including my own G&L L-2000.
This bass has a great sound, but the wood is very delicate, even when using
the slap technique you can damage the wood.
