Again , people are commenting outside their territory in ignorant history less ways. Get some background info! yes, this is from Jaco´s instructional tape of the mid 80s. according to Bill Milkowski´s bio on Jaco he was basically out of the music game at this point because of many negative factors in his life. They cleaned him up and did this tape. After the taping Jaco got cash and went out to spend it all on booze, then returning to demand more
money. Despite this Jaco played as only he could

Even though I play guitar, my ears are transfixed on the bass. Jaco’s bass solos are fantastic, but his baselines are incredibly interesting and inventive too.
