Thanks for the job offer, as long as I can wear what you see on the video.
I also must be able to continue with my style of HAIR to encourage
Fantastic Sam clients to maintain their hair creativity as well. When can I
start? Thank you.

hahahahahahahahaha my hair hurts…

Written By vonsn on July 4th, 2014 @ 2:49 pm

this video is hilarious!! the only reason I’m commenting is: this guy plays
upside down like me, and although our music requires little to NO slapping,
when I HAVE TO do it, I use the SAME DAMN technique…. ( slapping for
lefty’s is a VERY HARD THING to do ), and I respect people WHO ACTUALLY CAN
DO IT!!!!!

Written By Mike P on July 4th, 2014 @ 3:20 pm

you rock dude, playing lefty on a rightie bass..

Written By japas on July 4th, 2014 @ 3:52 pm

dude I was messing around with my friends bass and he showed me a small
tune to play. It was uncomfortable and I switched sides. So it was lefty on
a righty bass and it felt better, I’m now buying a righty bass, and I have
an afro! Your afro is cool too.

Written By AhhFRO on July 4th, 2014 @ 4:37 pm

I’m a leftie learning the bass at the moment, I had to go all round glasgow
to get a decent lefty bass.

Left handed bass genius.the black Jaco and as his friends say,a de-gull man
with a de-gull plan!

Written By labauvefan on July 4th, 2014 @ 7:14 pm

this video is HALARIOUS!!!, the only reason I’m even putting a comment on
it is for ONE reason ONLY: this guy plays his bass upside down, and so do
I…although my style is WAAAAYYY different, and the songs we do have very
little to NO slapping in them, the slapping technique he uses is almost
EXACTLY what I use when I’m playing a song that requires slapping…lololol

Written By Mike P on July 4th, 2014 @ 7:24 pm

hey dont give up! lOL

Written By starfishg on July 4th, 2014 @ 7:53 pm

im a lefty and it sucks trying to find a left handed bass so i usually end
up playing a rightie as a lefty

Written By Dennis O'Leary on July 4th, 2014 @ 9:00 pm

Written By synthesaurus on July 4th, 2014 @ 9:46 pm

Hey Davey! I bought a Fender Jazz Bass (new) before a few months and after
watching almost all your videos i set it up.. there was almost none neck
relief so i did it all by fender numbers. Now when i play the A string open
i hear a weird buzz but it’s not touching the frets :/ .. what can be the
problem? Thank you for all your videos man!!

Made in America, not living up to Canadian climate….must be all those
Igloos we live in, they didn’t compensate for that.

why? why do I watch this crap? Its as addicktive as chocolate coke. what is
so interesting about a lonely old cannuk alone in a cold basement? i wish
his wife would allow him upstairs more than twice a day. Its a shame. A
shame and pity, its nine below zero and she locked him in basement.

Written By Dave's World of Fun Stuff on July 5th, 2014 @ 4:28 am

Hey Dave! Quick question. I’d like to go for a fender Jazz. I have a Squire
vintage modified 77 jazz and like it, but I feel it’d be nicer to upgrade.
I thought of the standard because I don’t have a high budget. Here’s the
question, what’s your opinion on the Jazz bass that has the humbuckers? The
modern player. I don’t mind either single coil or buckers, but if it helps
me save money, I’d go for it. Is it just as nice tone wise and all that?

Warped to death in Canada?? Sounds like the old Rickenbacker Death in
Canada story….:) Bet the guy is glad it worked out ok. Well done Dude

You tighten the truss rod with your left hand on a left hand guitar

Written By madsally4 on July 5th, 2014 @ 7:45 am

I’m glad you had the balls to say this. These days the only difference
between a MIA Fender and a MIM is 60 miles and $800.00. Thanks and Cheers!

it helps make you not take the neck off so many times try it straight if
that fails remove neck slight back bow repeat till relief is correct
