Obviously this is my own opinion, but you can share it too. icon smile The best electric bass guitar player ever His name is Nicolae Caragea, born in Moldavia, but currently produces records in Romania. This excerpt is from the Mamaia Festival which has taken place in the summer of 2009. It’s the only instrumental track recorded for the last album of romanian singer Corina Chiriac and it’s called – VIRTUOSO. Enjoy ! Taken from www.youtube.com Mulțumiri.

He is able to play ok but his tone is shit and his material is regional and ethnic in a very white way.I suppose this is fine if you never heard soul music or funk or jazz.

The best? Billy Sheehan would finger his ass and this guy would shit finger nail clippings.. hahaha.. A little forward bow in the neck would slow him down, he plays great but i would like to see different hand techniques ; )

Really not even close. He’s definitely fast, but listen to Jaco. Jaco has superior chromatic speed, and better sense of melody, at all points. Because this person is in a weird country/setting does not get what you’re claiming, which, as the above poster points out, is pretty stupid to begin with. But now in addition to being stupid, you’re just plain wrong because of a bass player named Jaco. And in case you didn’t notice, this guy is totally copying Jaco
