Lastly, the bass is a versatile instrument, that shouldn’t be confined to a particular role, in my opinion. Also, I believe you shouldn’t put boundaries on creativity. However, it seems as though this thought process, and my music, doesn’t suit you, which is perfectly fine. : )

1) If you would like the bassline for ‘The Unforgiven’, I’m sure you can easily find it on YouTube.
2) I arrange whole songs for solo bass guitar; I don’t solely play the bass part. So if you don’t like that, I don’t recommend you watch my videos.
3) I don’t feel the need to prove that I can ‘play guitar on bass’. In this instance, I’m covering a song, complete with the melody, harmony and rhythm, just as guitarists, pianists, cellists, etc, do.

I remember…I found you while looking the keywords “epic bass solo”. Epic Love was the first hit. Been hooked ever since. Wouldn’t change it for anything.

That’s a stereotype. Not everyone who can play great has to be Asian.

Blue is used for tight holds but will be replaced and red is used for life time hold, no replace. Not sure if that is accurate, but that is what I was taught when I was younger

Not all basses have big tuning pegs. A lot of basses mount little pegs similar to guitars ones.
Especially 6 or more stringed.

Do you dry your blanks before starting a project? I want to start my own bass project but don’t know if i need to dry out the wood first

Was this poplar?

#45
Written By ollenbergerstudios on August 14th, 2012 @ 7:45 am

They’re meant to be wider than usual so you can get more leverage to turn them because due to the thicker strings, basses tend to require more force in order to tighten their strings.

Written By DeathByBromicide on August 14th, 2012 @ 8:22 am

because its the middle of the scale. proof being that the note and harmonic o the 12th fret are exactly the same when you play them, thats how it works

#47
Written By dandeliontea7 on August 14th, 2012 @ 8:51 am

guitar tuning pegs would warp with such big strings
