YYZ Bass Cover
Tough song to cover with lots of room for error. When I first heard this song I went into denial not wanting to believe that the solo riffs were actually bass, even though in the back of my mind I knew they were. “They sound more like guitar to me, hear that distortion?” I remember telling my friend (in order to get out of having to try and learn them). In any case, this is my cover, warts and all. I’m not quite used to the wider string spacing on this new bass, just got it Sunday, the day before yesterday- excuses, excuses, but really…

It is hard. Just keep at it. I did a tutorial on it that might be of some help.

@QuiteDefinitelyMaybe
Ok. Thanks.
Nevermind the question, just read the channel!
Wow, I know from playing this (my cover will be up soon with the new bass) that it is very hard. Bravo for learning it note for note, I improvised a lot of the background fills. One question, what kind of cam did you use? Everything I’ve tried has lost the low notes yet you seem to have them perfect. Thanks and great job!

Yes, it’s name is “Lovecraft”. It was originally a Deathstudios piece that was then picked up my Darksidestudio.
Do I spy a Cthulhu mask just above the head stock? That’s awesome. Nice playing too!
@FerimixPla
